Data Deletion
Delete your account and data.
Use the app or contact us at the same address used for all DOT9T requests.
Effective 2 November 2026
Delete your DOT9T account in the app
- Open DOT9T Player and sign in to your DOT9T account.
- Open the account or profile settings and use the account deletion control.
- Review the confirmation and confirm deletion.
Account access is disabled immediately. If you cannot find or use the in-app control, email [email protected] with the subject “DOT9T account deletion.” We may verify that the account belongs to you before acting. Never send a password, playlist URL or activation code.
What is deleted and what remains temporarily
We delete the DOT9T account and associated server data we can identify. Name and email may remain in restricted security and abuse-prevention records for up to 30 days after account deletion, then are deleted. Server logs are automatically deleted after 30 days. You can also ask for earlier deletion of identifiable server records by email. Playlists and external content-source login details are kept on your device; remove them using the steps below.
Remove data on your device
To remove local playlists, external source login details and settings, use the app’s removal controls, or open Android Settings → Apps → DOT9T Player → Storage → Clear data. Menu wording varies by device. Uninstalling the app also removes its local app data in ordinary use.
Firebase data
Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics follow Google’s separate deletion and retention processes. Firebase says Crashlytics crash data is kept for 90 days before removal begins. Analytics data is subject to the Google Analytics property’s retention settings and may not be directly identifiable from an email address. If you request deletion, we will review any Firebase records we can identify and use the deletion controls available to us.
Request deletion by email
Email [email protected] with “DOT9T data deletion” in the subject. Include your DOT9T account email, if you have one, and enough information to identify your request. We may ask for verification. Do not send a password, playlist URL or activation code. We will respond to explain the action taken and any information retained for security or legal reasons.
